Folks

A previously undiscovered Cashill cousin came across
the family page at Cashill.com, contacted my sister
who, she discovered, lives just a block away, and
arranged for my sister and I to meet at St. Paul's in
Princeton at the grave of our mutual great great
grandfathers, John Cashell and Patrick Kane and our
mutual great grandparents, Catherine Kane and John D.
Cashill.

There we met five "new" cousins, two sets of sisters,
descended from Anna Cashill Pickell and Mary Cashill
Hartman respectively.  They have a veritable treasure
trove of Cashillana documents, which I will try to get
online.  We repaired to the home of one of them, Janet
Glickson, for a "Cashill Symposium," commemorated with
little trophies made by Janet's husband, Mike.

In the way of correction, John D. Cashill was not
actually ever mayor of Princeton, but he was a buddy
of Grover Cleveland.
